It helps lessen but doesnt totally eliminate play between upper and lower receiver. It fits perfectly in my colt lower out of the box. Assembly between the lower & upper is quite hard but it fits. Just need some pushing quite a bit. It general, it does its job and for its price, you wont go wrong.

looks like this thing is just not made to fit in stag lowers. my stag-15 lower does not work with a BCM upper. i had to trim a good amount off. but it now does fit and the slop is gone. it is still relatively easy to take the rifle apart but i have not shot it yet. hopefully it keeps working for awhile. there wasnt a lot of play to begin with but it is now completely gone.

Accuwedge not needed for Rock River Arms |

Both my dad and I thought this a great idea to help get rid of or minimize any play we had, but after receiving the wedge, and then really paying attention to any gap between the upper and lower, we both came to the conclusion there was no need to purchase this. We both tried shaving the wedge down, and mine made it down to about 1mm thick, and still the fit was so tight, I could not get the wedge in place and close the upper down. For Rock River Arm rifles, this wedge is not needed. The fit is just to perfect from factory. I wouldn't call it a waste of money, because its one of those things you don't know till you try, and for the price it is, it was a good lesson worth learning.

It didnt fit my Stag Arms Model 6 |

Mayby its that it doesn't fit the stag arms line of firearms, or mayby that its a waste of money. Either way, after using a razor to cut it to somewhat fit, then heating it up with a lighter to make the rubber softer while i squished it to fit between the upper and lower. it barley allowed the take down pin to fit thru, worst of all, there is still play. I'm just gonna get the JP tension take down pin when its available.

just received my second accuwedge. Both are the the Black accuwedge. I am extremley happy it. I had bought an accuwedge from ebay, and it was red- very hard rubber! had to trim it and it ws very difficult to compress enough to assemble. the Black accuwedge sold here, is of a softer rubberfirm enough to do it's job, but pliable enough to allow easy assemebly of upper and lower. the red one is in the garbage now! :)
