This block fits the upper with zero clearance, nice and tight. I had a Colt that need my body weight on a breaker bar to remove the barrel nut and was a little worried the upper or block would get tweaked, both were unharmed. Tough and perfecly sized - Highly recommended.

A must have AR tool!

If you have a good vise setup the DPMS Pather Claw is truly a must have in your AR tool drawer. Tested out with 4 different brand uppers and all of it was held securely and snugged for easy removal of the flash hiders, barrel nuts, etc. Only if you are capable of doing these jobs on your own. But truly a must have.

I have used this piece of equipment to build five uppers in the last six months. I won't live long enough to wear it out.

great tool, must have for any upper work. got mine while they were in stock, get them while you can! fits solid in the upper, very little play when working on your upper.

A Godsend!

After reading many threads on building an AR w/ a Larue rail, I was told that these bad boys were the best to get! No drilling involved to make it work like the action block and it will do what the action blocks will do. Yes it cost 10-15 dollars more than the regular blocks, this product pays for itself in labor, sanity and time!
The only way to work on an upper.
