I have four of these groups. All four run great. I have shot NATO as well as zinc-plated steel case 55 grain. No malfunctions after an average of 500 rounds each. I use Militec oil, and they run like they should. One unit has 1500 rounds through it without any malfunctions. The midlength system results in less felt recoil than the carbine length systems. The barrel weight helps this, too. Muzzle rise is minimal compared to the carbine length system. Feels like more of a push than a jolt. Three round groups are tight, less than 1" at 50 yards with 62 grain NATO, and 1.5" with 55 grain. I'm sure the groups are limited by the abilities of the operators. My best groups through my rifle are .5" at 50 yards with 62 grain NATO. The floated barrels help here. The long sight radius, with the front sight at the front end of the 12" Vltor rail helps make iron sight use accurate and consistent. That is especially true with old eyes! I highly recommend these upper receiver groups.
