Description   The Badger Ordnance Tactical latch is an extended charging handle latch and was developed to allow rapid operation of charging handle with the right or left hand, gloves, wet, mud and snow or ice. The latch is perfect for flat top AR-15/M16 series rifles which utilize a scope and limit access to the charging handle. The latch is made from 8620 ordnance steel and parkerized with a mil spec finish. The Tactical latch is currently in service with the United States Marine Force Recon, US Navy Seals, US Army Rangers and Special Forces as well as the DEA, FBI, Secret Service and dozens of State and local law enforcement agencies. For use with the M16/AR-15, AR-10 and SR-25 series rifles. Replaces the Charging handle latch, allows easy function of rifle with either hand. A must for Tactical or scoped flat top rifles. Works Great January 3, 2009 Reviewer: Chris from VA.   Looks great. Very easy to install. Did not need to use any tape. Just knocked out the little roll pin, then slowly removed the punch while holding the stock latch. Installed the Badger latch, then used the punch to hold it in place while reinserting the roll pin. Oh so simple... November 13, 2008 Reviewer: Tony from TN United States   I love this latch! A must if you have optics or sling. Very easy to install. Didn't need tape, just held the original latch in place, took the smallest allen wrench I had and pushed the pin out. I then slowly released the latch out and the spring stayed. Put the Badger in, lined it up,  and followed the allen wrench out with the pin. Was this review helpful to you?

Even a moron could.... August 13, 2008 Reviewer: Jeffrey Fong from Tacoma, WA United States   I would add in addition to the aforementioned tape, when you are inserting the latch and have the parts lined up, it is fairly easy to reinsert the only partially drifted pin with a pair of pliers (tape the teeth so you don't mark up your latch!).
