This is a very sturdy forward vertical grip. However, there are some issues you should be aware of before ordering.
1. The mounting system uses 3 hexhead screws. There are reports that these threads can be stripped if you torque them down too tightly. So use moderate torque and locktite.
2. Weight. It weighs in at about 7 ounces. 6 if you leave off the cap.
3. The edges around the pressure switch pocket are extremely sharp. They are very uncomfortable to hold for any length of time. I resolved this issue by wrapping the grip in para cord. Another option would be to use a rubber sleeve.
4. The compartment won't hold a 123a battery. It is too narrow.

Mounts sure and tight on rails. Grip is firm and comfortable. Mounts very well on MI Tactical Handguards. Compartment is watertight; sealed with an "O" ring, cap made of steel. My customer LOVES it- Now, I have one- I need a NEW, less addictive hobby! :)
