Yoy get what you pay for. Shoot this stock & you will immediately notice the difference in comfort & accuracy. The stock gives a better cheek weld for aimed fire & is comfortable & secure purchase to your shoulder in all firing positions. Better than the VLtor or others. It was tested against all others by SOCOM operators & they all choose to use it. This is the best you can buy. I don't need more battery storage as much as I need a good strong accurate stock that fits in all positions. If you need more battery storage, buy a pouch. Buy an LMT SOPMOD stock to shoot well with.

I've owned SOPMOD stocks since they first arrived on the market for civillian purchase. Good stock, the one to have, but not any longer !!!!!
The Vltor EMOD is what the LMT SOPMOD should be !!! Same heavy construction made of fiberglass filled thermo plastic, metal strike plate with rubberized pad, rolled under just at the bottom for that "Hold high" position when wearing body armor or lot's of kit. More battery storage and is an inch longer than the competing SOPMOD stock. The added length allows the operator to use this stock with any SPR rifle and still maintain a versatile retractable stock system.
This is what you should have on your AR15. Hands down, the best and you'll save money.

SOPMOD stock |

I recently got a new lower with the SOPMOD. It is absolutly incredible! I had only used the standard carbine stock before and after handling the SOPMOD its all i will ever use. It is incredibly sturdy and robust with absolutly NO wiggle whatsoever, whereas the standard stock seems to ratlle quite a bit. I wouild highly recomend it and plan to purchase another if i can ever scrape the money together for another.
