Description     LaRue Tactical's QD Piviot Mount for 3X Magnifier. Designed to mount behind the LT-mounted Aimpoint CCO* (Comp ML2, M2, ML3, M3, M4), our Pivot Mount places an Aimpoint 3X in perfect, 1.725" centerline height-alignment, providing proper cheek-weld.   With durability and simplicity in-mind, the spring-tensioned pivot rotates on a robust 5/16" shaft. No buttons, no switches, no delicate places to fill with sand. You simply grab the optic one-handed, pull back, move it in-position, release, and you're good-to-go. Once it's locked into position, it does not move `till you want it to. Solutions driven designs April 2, 2008 Reviewer: Scott Rigg from Highland Heights, KY United States   Once again Mark LaRue brings to the table yet another mounting solution that enables soldiers and shooters alike to apply both quick magnification to your Aimpoint or your EOTech red dot and hollowgraphic sight systems and quickly get back to CCO applications with this mount. It's simple, you just pull on the magnifier and it "Pivots" out of the way of your red dot or hollowgraphic sight system.  Unlike having an ACOG that is not exactly suited for CCO type work and having to add in the additional J Point or Doctor on top of the ACOG, which is awkward at best, it allows the shooter quickly go from a 1x optic to a 3x red dot or hollowgraphic in just literally no more than 1 second. Like all LaRue mounts, it's a throw lever mount with the lever tightening mechanism like that of all the other LaRue mounts. Was this review helpful to you?
