I almost don't want to shoot it, but I know that's crazy talk. It really is one great looking upper receiver. I have zero doubt it'll function as good as it looks. I would like to add that unlike the other gents that posted, my Tactical Innovations BDX (Billet) lower receiver mates with the LaRue Stealth like they were made for one another. Nothing short of a perfect fit.

LaRue makes some very innovative products, one of which is the LaRue Tactical Stealth Receiver.
The receiver fits tightly on several brands of lower receivers (Stag, RRA, Superior, Territorial Gunsmiths, etc), as designed.
The outer finish displays tool marks from the machining process. Though LaRue could have eliminated the tool marks with secondary operations, they chose to leave them as a sort of trademark for the LaRue Stealth Products.
Loses one star due to minor cosmetic issues.
I will buy more as my budget allows.

As always LT makes some killer stuff. Definitely happy with the quality and craftsmanship. Though like another review stated this upper does not fit Tactical Innovations BILLET or FORGED lower receivers.

Great but not worth the money |

After measurements tubing wall is only .0195 larger, charging handle wall thickness is smaller at .013, takedown pin stubs are .005 thicker (still didn't take out slop). The ejection cover pops open way to easy with a gentle hand tap compared to the BCM Flat top M4 Cerro Forge unit. Mine came with small nicks, forward assist sticks after working it for about 15mins it doesn't stick, had to take roll pin out and use hard force to release Forward assist. slightly better anodizing, rough cnc marks are all over, didn't media blast outside to get rid of the roughness. It does have a larger brass deflector, larger bolt rail surface area (my Young NM BCG fits slightly tighter which i like, if you have the time and money find a receiver that fits your lower without slop, Save yourself $150 and grab one of the laser etched BCM stripped receivers. And BCM shipping rivals Midways in speed when items are in stock.

Fit, finish and overall Quality are 1st rate, like EVERY La Rue product. One note: they will NOT fit on Tactical Innovation (or Denny's Guns) Billet lower receivers! Vltor MUR-1As will. La Rue's rear receiver pin lug is machined "wide" to take up the mil-spec "slop" between standard forged receivers. They fit flawless on all MIL-SPEC lowers, but not on some billet lowers.
