ive never been dissapointed by magpul and love all their products. however, if your looking for a buttpad that offers cushion and less felt recoil, this upgrade doesnt offer much for that (even though the 223 has little recoil as it is). on the looks department, it is a bit more aggressive looking then the standard pad and gives you a little one up on the shooting range when comparing your AR with your buddy's. if you have 20 bucks to spare, go ahead and get it!
