MagPul MOE Handguard |

I chose the MOE handguard for a lightweight and minimally-accessorized S&W M-4 patrol carbine. It installed easily and fits the carbine properly. The shape lends itself well to precision shooting and it satisfactorally bleeds off the heat generated by long strings of fire. The design may not be suitable for vertical grips and loads of accessories, but I recommend it without reservation as a replacement for the standard M-4 round handguards.

Handguard |

The handguard came in and I had no problem installing it other than the fit was tight as .. well it was tight.. There is no movement vert or horizontal so I don't know what the other person problem is other if you are born with an duct tape mentality you are stuck with it for life. Magpul has done it again with a good product and Bravo company has the best service I have ever seen . I will continue to buy not only for the service and products they sell but also for the support they give to our Service Men and Women.. Thanks Bravo...

Lightweight but... |

The upper and lower are held together horizontally and vertically by the rifle's handguard cap at the front and the compression of the rifle's handguard O ring at the rear.
Unlike some handguards, there is nothing to stop the two pieces from rattling against one another vertically, or sliding slightly horizontally. Grasping the two, they make noise because of the slightly loose fit. I gave up my handguard duct tape back in the 60's.
