This sling mount is tops in my opinion. It's easily installed by simply pulling off the stock, sliding on the mount, and then tighten it up with the supplied allen wrench. That's all there is to it.
It's heavy duty and has both left and right side sling grooves. It fits just over the castle nut with two "hood" feature on either side. Nice piece of gear and as I said, it doesn't require a gunsmith or removal of the extenstion tube as front plate type sling mount.
The only draw back is that it adds about 1/8 of an inch in the back of the castle nut and the stock will not go to the first position lock. This isn't all bad as I keep my in second position anyway.
Easy to install and does the job.
