Description   Two piece free floating tactical handguards for your AR15 or M4 with a carbine gas system.  Made by MI (Midwest Industries, Inc.)  CNC machined from aircraft grade lightweight aluminum and hard coat anodized to milspec.  Features USGI type laser etched T-marks to provide addressing for mounting and remounting accessories.  These handguards provide a Free Floating monolithic looking modular platform for mounting of tactical accessories such as vertical grips, laser sights, LAMs, flashlights, sling mounts, bipods, and optics.   For installation, the front sight base does not need to be removed.  These MI free float handguards install over the original OEM barrel nut.     Generation 2 Model - 11.0 oz.     Features No Removal of Barrel or Front Sight for Installation. (Simply cut off the delta ring for a easy install. ) MIL-STD 1913 Rails. T-marked for Accessory Location. Constructed of 6061 Hard Coat Anodized for a Lifetime of Service. It's just ok April 5, 2009 Reviewer: Darren Dugan from Chandler, AZ United States   I just installed this handguard on my CMMG M4 upper.  Install is easy and straightforward, and it's a cheap way to get a free floated railed handguard.  That's the good.  The bad is that the top rail is not the same height as the rail on my upper, my tango down vfg does no properly fit on the bottom rails, and overall quality is just ok.  Doesn't compare to the DD or LaRue rails I have.  I wish I had other 2 piece rail systems to compare it to but, this is my first handguard of this type.  I may bu a Troy to replace it and see how that is. This is a solid rail. April 2, 2009 Reviewer: Peter  Pierman from Newton, MS United States   This is a great rail system.  Install was a piece of cake.  Roto tool cut off the delta ring in a matter of minutes.  Lock tight and allen screws  and I was in business.  Been using this rail on a Sabre Defense carbine for almost a year.  It has been in some intense situations and never offered any movement.  If I ever need another, this is the rail I will buy. Excellent rail from an excellent company February 25, 2009 Reviewer: APDPatrolman from Abilene, TX United States   I purchased my #20 FF rail over 4 months ago, and installed it the afternoon I got it in before I hit the streets that night.  It has been rock solid and looks great.  It is very functional and affordable.  I have since installed 3 others on my fellow officer's rifles, and all have been flawless. Super Quality / Fit January 3, 2009 Reviewer: Dan R from United States   This is an example of a quality product at a very reasonable price. I wanted a floating tactical  guard for my Bushmaster Patrolman. Id never owned a two piece before and to be honest was a bit leary. Not Now !
