Ok, this device is awesome! It's not plastic, which I saw on the 'net that there are ones which are. It attaches very easily and even comes with the correct allan key for it.
Sighting, well, could not tell you that since it's for the wifeys AR but it seems like it'll do the job.
It lays very flat so it doesn't interfere with the optics and works great as a BUIS.
Highly recommend.

Great sight

You'll see some of the pictures I took on the page above. When I got this site I had no idea how good it was going to be. It is very low, works well, and the fit and finish is great. It is easier to adjust then some others, but every bit as durable. If you need a good folding BUIS, this is it.

The best you can buy.

I have checked out some of the other BUIS and I really think this MI SPLP is the best you can buy, it does cost a bit more then the ARMS but it's low profile and sleek look along with how much abuse it can take makes it worth it, the Troy cost 20 bucks more and you get a better sight with MI. I have alway's loved to use Iron sights but I got an ACOG almost right after I picked up my AR and with this sight I can just take off my ACOG (take's a few sec's) and flip up the sight and I am good to go. It is everything MI said it would be and more, MI make's very fine AR parts and I reommend this to anyone that want's a BUIS with a nice clean look and a sight that will take alot of abuse. I know the Military uses these sight's and it is for a reason it will not let you down. From everyday use to just using it as a backup sight I will have to give it 5 stars. This is a must buy for anyone that need's a BUIS and want's the best one at that.

Fits perfectly on my CMMG flat top.
Sight is very solid when locked in it's upright position.
Quality is equal to other sights that cost much more.
Great!
