Description   Mounts from American Defense MFG LLC, with the patented QD Auto Lock Lever™   ADM The AD-RECON-1 scope mount with 1 inch rings.  Extends scope forward approx 2 inches.   The mounts are billet machined from aircraft quality 6061 T6 aluminum. Products are hard coat anodized for a lifetime of superior performance. Mounts are fully adjustable to fit in spec and out of spec 1913 picatinny rails. Mounts feature a large adjustable lever that incorporates the patented Auto Lock feature that will lock the lever in the closed position. The QD Auto Lock Lever™ system features a large clamping surface to insure maximum contact with the rail. The QD Auto Lock Lever™ does not require any tools for adjustments.  All American Defense Mfg LLC products feature a lifetime warranty. Very sturdy August 8, 2009 Reviewer: Mark Hyder from Vail, AZ United States   Very sturdy mount. The adjustable QD levers take a little fiddling with to get the right blance of tension and ease of on/off. If you own a lefthand Stag upper like I do beware that the dust cover will hit the QD levers and not open all the way. This may interfere with ejection. I had to turn the unit around and mount it backwards. This works fine but it is now mounted to the very front of the upper. Was this review helpful to you?
