Description Extended Information   AIMPOINT® 3XMAG The 3XMag magnifying module is specially designed for compatibility with Aimpoint® sights and for maximum flexibility and increased performance in the field. The 3XMag is a revolutionary tool for military personnel, law enforcement, sport shooters and hunters. When combined with Aimpoint’s patented TwistMount, the 3XMag gives the user something never before possible – the ability to switch in a split second from CQB (Close Quarters Battle) to semi-sniping and vice versa. Hunters can rapidly switch from non-magnifying to magnifying while still being able to keep their Aimpoint® sight on their firearm. The versatile 3XMag also can be used as a handheld magnifying glass monocular for discrete observation and identification. This is a must have behind your red dot January 4, 2008 Reviewer: Scott Anson from Highland Heights, KY United States   Red dots and HWS's are great, that is if your only shooting out to 50-75 meters. With the addition of the Aimpoint 3x mulitplier behind hour red dot or HWS it gives you the ability to acquire your intermediate shots more adequatley. I mount mine on the LaRue "PIVOT" mount so I can get it out of the way to close in work with the red dot. If you don't have one of these, then you need one. Was this review helpful to you?
