I decided to try them after comparing prices to other drop in rails. These rails went in super easy and super fast, taking only about 3-4 minutes to figure them out. A little dissappointed... February 15, 2009 Reviewer: Anonymous person from NorCal, CA United States   Rock solid mount with no play whatsoever.  There is one problem that I noticed.  The rail was slightly raised near the barrel nut and slightly slants downward towards the front sights.  It may not be noticeable at first but with a straight edge ruler, you will see that it is in fact not straight with the upper receiver rails.  I tried mounting it on two different ARs.  Close inspection of the barrel nut area didn't reveal any problems as everything looked to be seated right and tight.  Maybe I received a bad batch but I will not be using this on my AR.  3 stars for the rock solid mount.  So solid that it was very difficult to install, but that's what makes it solid. Love my new Troy DI... November 2, 2008 Reviewer: Robert Hicks from Arkansas CIty, KS United States   I am really impressed with this drop in rail. It is very well made, mates up perfectly with no slop when installed and as added insurance against movement, there are four screws which hold both halves together. This is an absolute must for anyone wanting a solid, very well made and nicely finished product. It is a top notch railed fore end in my opinion and for the price, is unbeatable.
