Troy 13.5" Free Float Handguards |

One of the longest 4 rail handguards on the market, the Troy 13.5" comes very close to the flash-hider on a 16" barrel, so that only a small stretch of barrel is not covered by the handguards. Not only does it look cool, but there isn't much area left for you to get burned by.
These handguards received 5 stars for the following reasons: Simple to install - I didn't have to remove the barrel or barrel nut, these installed right over it; rock solid when installed; anti-twist tabs; quality machining.
I tried another brand that installed over the nut, and they moved vertically when tightened down all the way. That isn't good, but it really is not good when you are mounting the front sight to the handguard.
The only downside I have found is that these are quite heavy compared to other handguards. I knew that going in, and I'm a big guy, so it doesn't bother me, but others may want to take that into consideration, especially if your stock is lightweight.
