Simplifying magazine replacement |

Having replaced the plates on BravoCompanyUSA Teflon 30 round magazines with these Ranger Plates rounds out the upgrade with the Magpul Enhanced Follower Gen2. The ~$12.00 magazine now has ~$9.00 in upgrades and behaves better than a costlier magazine (e.g. HK Maritime which was $50 retail).
One issue that dinged it a star is that the part of the plate that goes against the spring is not cleanly cut from its die and is apparently a bit exact fit for the Teflon 30 round magazine, such that some light cutting is needed to ensure that the piece snaps into place when the grip plate is slid over the top. I recommend lightly pushing the spring side plate element into the magazine bottom with the grip plate, such that the larger clips are inserted first, then and the spring side plate can snap in place, locking the whole operation.
