I know I may be the old fashioned type but i am overly concerned about failed optics. I make sure to get quality backup irons and this flip up sight is great. I have used them to shoot out to 600 m with a knights flip up rear. I don't baby guns and have never had a zero shift. If you are building a mk 12, this is a first rate part.
